Your band, one floor up.

Everyone plays on their own headphones through the Behringer POWERPLAY P1 (6 units). The POWERPLAY boxes are on site; everyone brings their own headphones, and the studio doesn’t lend them.

On weekdays (Mon–Fri), quiet mode applies 08:00–14:00 and 22:00–01:00; from 17:00 to 22:00 you play loud, through the PA and monitors. At weekends (Sat–Sun) and on public holidays you play loud all day, 08:00–22:00; quiet mode runs from 22:00 to 01:00. From 01:00 to 08:00 it’s lock-out: the room is locked.

On weekdays (Mon–Fri) from 14:00 to 17:00, the room is reserved for tutor–student teaching. You book a slot, one tutor max. 3 h a day and 5 h a week, for €0, with no payment and no QR code. Band packages don’t overlap this window. The window doesn’t apply at weekends. More in the teaching section.

Until 01:00, yes: from 22:00 to 01:00 in quiet mode on headphones. On weekdays that’s the end of the 20:00–01:00 slot (5 h for €50). From 01:00 to 08:00 it’s lock-out: the room is locked and nobody plays.

The podcast studio is available on weekdays (Mon–Fri) from 08:00 to 16:00. The price is on request. Write to us via pre-registration — if you already have something in mind, include the date and length.

Yes, with our Live Recording and/or Streaming of Rehearsals service. You can book a live recording of your rehearsal, a live stream of it, or both. It isn’t a regular room booking: we agree the terms in a contract. Write to us via pre-registration.

For covers, our rule on legally purchased materials applies. Streaming covers: according to the law.

You choose a floor and a package, get a QR code (PAY by square) when you book, and pay in advance in your banking app. Under the QR code you’ll also find the IBAN, the amount and the variable symbol (payment reference), ready to copy.

We confirm the booking once the payment reaches our account. We match payments by the variable symbol, so don’t change it when you pay.

Yes. All prices are final and include 23% VAT: 3 h for €30, 5 h for €50. For businesses and entrepreneurs, these prices are without VAT and we add 23% VAT. You’ll see the net price and VAT broken down in your order summary.

Your own instruments. Singers bring their own mic, and for quiet playing everyone brings their own headphones. The studio doesn’t lend them; the Behringer POWERPLAY P1 boxes (6 units) are on site. For everything else that’s on site, see the gear.

This applies to the rehearsal room, not to demo recordings.

Yes. At Elevator_Studios.DK we have a rule: covers are learned and rehearsed using legally purchased materials only — sheet music, JamKazam tracks, you name it. (Doesn’t apply to the Teaching Window 😇.) After all, if you don’t respect other people’s work and intellect, you don’t respect yourself either.

Power runs through an AC-DC-AC online double-conversion inverter: stable voltage, a clean sine wave, no mains hum.

Elevator is our name—not a lift in the building.

How to get to the basement:

Room 008 has a branch of the public water supply with the main shut-off valve and the water meter. The building manager has keys to door 007; door 008 isn’t locked. Once a week the manager reads the water meter for Oravská vodárenská spoločnosť (the Orava water company) and also lets the water company staff in. So an authorised person may enter 007 or 008 at any time, even during your slot. That isn’t a breach of contract or a reason for a discount. So always keep the space tidy.

Rooms 007 and 008 have cameras, with no sound. The footage stays on our own server only and is deleted after 7 days. Of the building’s facilities, you may use only the toilets; the first-floor kitchen shared by the other tenants is off limits. You’ll find coffee, tea, water and crockery in the ELEV Refresh_Corner in lounge 008.
